Our Course - D.Pharma

The D.Pharma programme is appropriate for students who intend to pursue a long-term career in the medical field of pharmaceutical sciences, beginning at entry-level jobs.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who wish to enrol in the D.Pharma must meet the following requirements:

• Students must have completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in order to be admitted to the pharmacy programmes.
• A minimum of 50% on the qualifying exam is required of students.
• Students who successfully complete the three-year Pharmacy Diploma (D.Pharm) programme are also eligible.

Course Duration

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm):

The D.Pharm is a two-year foundation course in the discipline of pharmacy. The fundamentals of the pharmacy field are covered in this course. It includes all topics that are connected to the pharmacy industry.

• A wide range of careers awaits those who have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy course in both the private and public sectors. The first wage range for new diploma holders in this field is easily between INR 2,00,000 and 5,00,000. The pay is commensurate with the level of industry experience. With more experience in the field, higher compensation is offered.

• Pharmacy graduates' career paths lead them to fill positions such as Pharmacist in Industry (Manufacturing, Packaging, Quality Control and Quality Assurance), Analytical Chemist and Chemical Technician, and Food and Drug Inspector (regulating the consistency, utility, and safety of a drug), Community and Hospital Pharmacist (Dispensing of Medicines and Counselling of Patients), Hospital Drug Coordinator and Drug Therapist, Executive in sales and distribution (Detailing to Doctors and Bulk Distribution of Medicines), Medical Representative.
